PPD’s clinical research unit in Las Vegas, Nevada, conducts early phase clinical studies to determine how new medicines act in the bodies of healthy and patient volunteers.
The Las Vegas unit also can conduct post-Phase I clinical trials that enroll patients who have the health condition the medicine is targeting. This way, researchers can learn how effective the new drug is and how it compares to the standard treatment. Patient volunteers can save the enormous cost associated with paying for medications and office visits.
PPD’s Las Vegas clinical research unit recruits clinical trial volunteers for a wide range of studies. For early development trials, we regularly recruit healthy volunteers age 18 and older, as well as volunteers with the health condition being targeted by the study.
