PPD’s gov/NGO pharmaservices group provides programmatic clinical research services to government and non-governmental organizations. Services include project and site management, training, lab auditing and site monitoring, among others. The group includes physicians, nurses, pharmacologists and clinical data managers, and has successfully supported more than 900 clinical trials in a wide variety of therapeutic areas from asthma/allergy to solid organ transplantation.

Our dental research clinic conducts acute pain trials using the impacted third molar model. It has experience with more than 100 dental pain research studies and averages about 1,200 patients per year.

Gov/NGO Group

  • Manages large clinical programs under government contracts
  • Monitors and manages a vast scope of protocols for HIV, infectious diseases, allergy, immunology, transplantation and vaccines
  • Conducts numerous Category A, B and C biodefense trials
