PPD offers a clinical operations and therapeutic focus on ophthalmology studies with experienced project teams dedicated to all ophthalmic programs. Our ophthalmology staff is familiar with multinational submissions and expeditious agency reviews, and has global experience in a variety of therapeutic areas.

In addition, PPD has an international network of experienced investigative sites for efficient subject enrollment.

We conducted or supported 59 protocols in ophthalmic indications involving approximately 12,000 patients at more than 1,400 sites between January 2004 and July 2009.
