PPD offers a broad range of discovery services, helping clients increase efficiencies and accelerate the drug discovery and development process. Our scientific expertise and experience as well as wide range of equipment and services enable us to meet clients’ drug discovery needs.

PPD designs and implements preclinical strategies and programs to provide information about a new drug’s pharmaceutical composition and safety. Our nonclinical development group offers pharmacology and toxicology consulting services.

Phase I

PPD provides customized services for Phase I clinical trials to advance our clients’ products to the next development phase. Our capacity to accommodate large clinical trials, combined with our dedicated, experienced staff, enable us to deliver effective integrated planning and implementation.

We offer services ranging from healthy volunteer clinics for Phase I and dental pain research studies to regulatory affairs. Our Phase I clinic, which is one of the largest in the world, conducts clinical studies to determine how new medicines act in the bodies of healthy volunteers.
