Neurotoxicity Model

Peripheral neurotoxicity occurs in approximately 40 percent of previously untreated cancer patients receiving taxane-containing chemotherapy regimes. Because the effects of this therapy may limit treatment for a significant percentage of patients, the PRC model that mimics clinical toxicity is significant. The model permits the evaluation of interactions of proposed protectant strategies for the disease and its treatment.
