Project Management Tools
PPD project managers track performance against contractual milestones beginning
at initiation. Key action items include:

Initial hand-off meeting to establish a communications
plan, define resources requirements, determine project metrics and initiate
a master action plan

Weekly project team meetings to review the project status,
verify resourcing and update action items

Regularly scheduled global risk management planning
meetings to review cost, quality and timeline performance metrics
Project status reporting is conducted via PPD DirectConnect™, a secure,
Web-based study information portal for timely, efficient management and optimal
communications for your clinical studies. Utilizing highly-secure technology,
PPD DirectConnect provides access to up-to-date status information at any
time.
Project managers also utilize a tool providing a central, standard snapshot
of each project for the early identification of current and most significant
