The cGMP lab in Middleton, Wis. features established biopharm and inhalation analytical teams as well as traditional pharmaceutical services. We continually add new analytical capabilities, and we now offer synthesis and microbiological testing services.
We are also establishing a cGMP analytical testing lab in Athlone, Ireland. The lab will offer testing services in method development as well as validation, stability and quality control testing. The site is scheduled to begin operations by the second half of 2009.
The Middleton site, in turn, recently added 26,000 square feet to its state-of-the-art facilities. The new addition allows for the expansion of our inhalation formulation development capabilities. We have the capacity to produce up to 3,500 pMDI units per batch, using either cold or pressure filling processes.
