PPD Vaccines & Biologics Center of Excellence is a first-of-its-kind network of world-class laboratory services devoted solely to vaccines and biologics drug development. The center integrates two decades of lab expertise in a single, comprehensive resource that can support vaccine and biologic development programs from preclinical to post-approval.
Our unique vaccines and biologics lab offers custom assay development, clinical testing and submission support services. We support submissions for new and modified vaccines as well as a wide range of other medicinal products, including blood components and recombinant therapeutic proteins.
Our bioanalytical lab testing services deliver accurate, high-quality results in compliance with GLP standards. Our facilities in Middleton, Wis., and Richmond, Va., offer comprehensive assay development, transfer, validation and sample analysis technologies in multiple biological species and matrices as well as biomarker measurement services.
We offer a full range of cGMP analytical laboratory services for all phases of drug development as well as dosage forms. Our services range from biopharmaceutical (large molecule) testing to stability and photostability testing.
Our central labs are among the world's largest facilities dedicated exclusively to clinical trials. Through our central lab facilities in Belgium, Singapore and the United States, and a partner lab in China, we provide global laboratory services to investigator sites in virtually every country of the world. Our central labs also offer biomarker measurement services that can be designed to meet clients’ needs.
