Client Chooses its Most Potent Compounds

Piedmont Research Center (PRC) screened the first several modifications of a new technology enabling the modification of an existing cytotoxic agent, determined an MTD for the client's most promising molecule and obtained initial efficacy data.

With this information, the client chose the most potent compounds and proposed a full pre-clinical development package including re-establishing the MTD of purified leads, pharmacokinetics and biodistribution, along with the efficacy studies, using these analogs on different schedules and at different dose levels. Future plans include testing the lead compound in a variety of tumor models and also toxicology studies.
