Detailed Patient Screening With Professional Sensitivity

PPD was presented with a women's health study that included rigorous entry criteria and a sensitive subject matter. As a result, PPD pulled together a multidisciplinary group from the study team and developed a plan that included targeted publicity, custom designed patient education materials and a medically trained call center team.

The call center staff of RNs and LPNs enabled PPD to conduct detailed patient screening calls with professional sensitivity. This kept potential patients interested in the study and enabled PPD to exceed client goals for enrollment.

Enrollment in the study was completed in seven months, two months ahead of schedule, with more than 80 percent of patients enrolled as a result of the recruitment campaign. The original enrollment target was 30 percent.
