PPD Provides Biostatistical Services for the Immune Tolerance Network

PPD was selected to provide biostatistical services for trials conducted by the Immune Tolerance Network (ITN), which is conducting clinical trials and assay studies for the purposes of inducing and maintaining tolerance in the areas of kidney, liver and islet transplantation, autoimmune diseases, allergy and asthma. PPD is currently providing biostatistical support for approximately twenty different ITN clinical trials and assay studies utilizing the latest tolerogenic innovations and strategies.

The scope, magnitude and complexity of the ongoing trials and those currently in development were important factors in selecting PPD, based on a reputation as the industry leader in clinical development services. Additionally, PPD was selected by the ITN to provide program management, clinical monitoring, data management and pharmacovigilance services. The multi-disciplinary teams at PPD are collaborating with worldwide scientists to translate state of the art research advances into daily clinical practice for the benefit of every patient.
