PPD FellowshipsCurrently, PPD is offering one fellowship program. Drug Development Fellowship ProgramThe University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-Chapel Hill) School of Pharmacy, in conjunction with PPD, offers a two-year drug development fellowship program for graduates of an accredited Pharm.D. degree program. The fellowship provides an opportunity to participate in an original clinical research project at UNC in the first year and to work on-site at PPD in the second year. The program offers a competitive stipend, health insurance, paid vacation and compensation for travel/ancillary expenses for one professional meeting each year. The fellowship is for U.S. residents. The fellowship has been offered since 1997 and has provided extensive training opportunities in different areas of clinical research. Preliminary interviews will be conducted at the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHSP) mid-year clinical meeting through its placement service. Formal interviews will then take place at the UNC School of Pharmacy and PPD. Eligibility requirements:Applicants must have completed an accredited Pharm.D. degree program.
